Entertainment
Long distance travel provides the luxury of time where you can sit back, take in the incredible scenery from your window and enjoy time for yourself.
We recommend for your journey to bring along the books you’ve been meaning to read, some card games, puzzle or colouring-in books or download some playlists, podcasts or your favourite streaming videos for you and the kids to enjoy while travelling.
We have some colouring sheets available free on board for you or the family – ask the onboard team if you would like some of these. There is also a small number of pencil cases available to borrow, but due to demand, it’s best to bring your own items. You can also download the colouring sheets at home when preparing for your trip.

Entertainment is available on the Tilt Train straight in the palm of your hands. You can access TV shows, movies and music, plus connect to the Wi-Fi from your own device. You just need your hand-held device, including smart phones, tablets or laptops.

Spirit of Queensland
We recommend travellers prepare for their rail journey by downloading entertainment to their personal electronic device, bring your charger for longer trips, and pack some books, puzzles or games. Spirit of Queensland is not equipped with Wi-Fi service. Some carriages offer entertainment screens in the seat back. RailBed carriages and Economy Seat carriages E and F offer entertainment screens while Economy Seat carriage G is entertainment-free.
Outback services: Spirit of the Outback, Inlander and Westlander
There is no entertainment provided for customers travelling on outback services. We recommend travellers prepare for their rail journey by downloading entertainment to their personal electronic device, bring your chargers, and pack books, puzzles and games for the journey.
