Entertainment
Long distance travel provides the luxury of time where you can sit back, take in the incredible scenery from your window and enjoy time for yourself.
We recommend for your journey to bring along the books you’ve been meaning to read, some card games, puzzle or colouring-in books or download some playlists, podcasts or your favourite streaming videos for you and the kids to enjoy while travelling.
Embark publication
Embark is a publication available to customers on all long-distance services and can be found in your seat pocket. Enjoy a range of stories, information on upcoming events across Queensland and plenty of puzzles to solve during the journey.
Spirit of Queensland entertainment
We recommend travellers prepare for their rail journey by downloading entertainment to their personal electronic device, bring your charger for longer trips, and pack some books, puzzles or games. Spirit of Queensland is not equipped with Wi-Fi service. Some carriages offer entertainment screens in the seat back. RailBed carriages and Economy Seat carriages E and F offer entertainment screens while Economy Seat carriage G is entertainment-free.
Tilt Train entertainment
We recommend travellers prepare for their rail journey by downloading entertainment to their personal electronic device and packing books, puzzles and games for the journey.
Free Wi-Fi is available on Tilt Train services between Rockhampton and Brisbane and Bundaberg and Brisbane. The Wi-Fi is limited to general browsing activities to enable enough bandwidth for the many customers travelling on each journey. Each customer will only be able to access a 1GB allocation, after which you will be disconnected from the network. The access is limited, streaming services are not accessible. The free Wi-Fi relies on connectivity which is not consistent along the coastline.

Outback services: Spirit of the Outback, Inlander and Westlander
There is no entertainment provided for customers travelling on outback services. We recommend travellers prepare for their rail journey by downloading entertainment to their personal electronic device, bring your chargers, and pack books, puzzles and games for the journey.
