Onboard Payment Options
Regarding payment for food, beverage and merchandise while travelling on Queensland Rail Travel services, we accept the following options:
- Cash
- EFTPOS transactions including MasterCard; Visa credit and debit cards; American Express (AMEX); JCB and a wide range of debit cards
- Note: Due to intermittent connectivity your physical card is required to be swiped or inserted (tap and pay payment methods are not accepted)
We do not accept:
- Diners card
- Scheme cards including gift cards
- Personal cheques
- No cash out facilities are available
Please note that due to the nature of the onboard environment, EFTPOS connectivity is not guaranteed at all times.
