To check current train arrival times you can call our 24-hour arrivals informat​ion service on 1800 803 009.

Our reservations team is available between 7am to 7pm (AEST), seven days a week

  • For phone booking and general enquiries, call 1800 872 467 (within Australia)
  • For assistance with your online booking, call 1300 131 722
  • For international phone booking enquiries, call +61 7 3606 6630 (outside Australia). Please note this is a charged call.

Keep your personal details safe 

At Queensland Rail Travel, we encourage customers to keep their personal information safe. Our team will only request the information we need to manage your long-distance rail booking. We won’t ever request your date of birth or your gender and our team will always answer calls from our customers “Queensland Rail Travel”. ​

Suspect you have been scammed?  

If you believe you have been contacted by a suspicious phone number, or have seen a suspicious advertisement or website in relation to purchasing rail travel, you should: 

  • Contact your financial inst​itution if you have made a payment. 
  • Report this activity to Policelink by calling 131 444 
  • Report the scam by visiting www.scamwatch.gov.au (opens in new tab) and getting information on where to get help. 
  • Contact restrav@qr.com.au to confirm your rail booking and to notify us of a scam misrepresenting Queensland Rail Travel. 
  • Contact www.idcare.org (opens in new tab) if you have provided personal details. ​

Bookings online with Queensland Rail Travel 

We encourage customers who book online to do this directly using this website www.queenslandrailtravel.com.au by clicking on the Book Now button. You can see this white button in the top right corner of this web page. 

We do not sell rail bookings for long-distance services via other websites. We expect our agents, who hold an agreement with us to sell rail travel, will identify their business clearly when working with our rail customers.  ​
